Chemical Analysis
The chemical composition of plate-like corundum mainly includes aluminum oxide (Al ₂ O3), with a content usually above 99%, and also contains small amounts of impurities such as silicon dioxide (SiO ₂), calcium oxide (CaO), iron oxide (Fe ₂ O3), and sodium oxide (Na ₂ O). The specific chemical composition parameters are: AL ₂ O3 ≥ 99.2%, SiO ₂ ≤ 0.05%, CaO ≤ 0.04%, Fe ₂ O3 ≤ 0.05%, Na ₂ O ≤ 0.40%.
